Who We Are

Established in 1933, Tennant & Ruttle Ltd. is a leading FMCG sales, marketing and distribution company servicing both ROI and NI markets across retail, wholesale and foodservice channels. From our Distribution Centre and Head Office located in Citywest, Dublin we have built an enviable reputation based on our collaborative, trusted and transparent approach to both our principals and the trade. 

Following a management buyout in 1999, we are a privately owned company with the owner directors involved in the day to day running of the business.  

We hold a blue-chip brand portfolio in confectionery, food, beverage, household & healthcare sectors, with long established partnerships with both our principals and the trade. The T&R team, with our knowledge and experience have enabled the brands we represent to achieve and maintain number 1 positions through “Working in Partnership”. Our passion and our commitment to our principals’ brands is the foundation of our success.

How We Work

We offer a wide range of route to market solutions to our Principals from a full service across sales, marketing and distribution to bespoke hybrid logistic models developed in partnership with our Principals to best suit their requirements.

Our sales coverage extends across the island of Ireland, servicing both North and South of the country, across multiples, convenience, wholesale and foodservice retailers. 

As we service a wide number of customers across the country we work to tailor our strategies to fit each channel and each brand we represent.

With an experienced sales team, dedicated account management team and Principal focused brand management team we ensure the right range is in the right location delivering the right results. 

Sustainability

The Directors, Management and Staff of Tennant & Ruttle Distribution Ltd are fully committed to working together to deliver a Sustainability program that is in the best interest of all our stakeholders – our customers, our principals, and the environment.  The company endeavours to foster relationships with service providers and business partners who themselves have a clear Sustainability Policy in place. 

The main focus areas of our Sustainability Policy fall under the headings of: Recycling, Energy, Transportation and Community.

Our Sustainability Policy objective is to increase the level of recycling, reduce our energy consumption, improve the efficiencies of our transportation network while supporting the welfare of our employees.
